We Pick It Up

On your scheduled move day, our team will arrive ready to work. Smaller items will be boxed together, while larger or high-value items will be photographed, wrapped, and packed individually. Want to track a specific item? Let us know, it will be documented separately for your peace of mind. Before leaving, the crew chief will review your complete inventory with you.

We Store It Securely

Your items are stored in commercial-grade storage warehouses that are professionally monitored 24/7 and closed to the public. Located just outside city limits to keep costs down, these secure facilities ensure your belongings are safe and organized until you need them.

We Return When You Need

Need something back? Simply log in to your TransXpresss dashboard to view and manage your stored items anytime, even mid-move. Returns and additional pickups are billed hourly (per mover, one-hour minimum). Any item can be returned within 7 days of your request.

You can store just about anything with TransXpresss—furniture, boxes, seasonal items, electronics, and more. However, for safety and legal reasons, there are a few items we can’t accept:

Prohibited Items:

Liquids – including wine, alcohol, or cleaning products
Perishables – such as food, plants, or anything that could spoil
Hazardous materials – like flammables, explosives, or toxic chemicals
Illegal substances – anything prohibited by law
Firearms and ammunition – or any kind of weapon
Pricing and Billing

We provide a full-service storage experience at self-storage rates. Your rates for storage, pickups, and returns depend on how much and how long you store your belongings.

We calculate square footage based on the actual space your items take up in storage.
Initial Estimate
Your moving coordinator provides an estimated square footage based on the item list you share during booking.
Final Calculation at Pickup
Once our movers arrive and load your items into the truck, we recalculate the square footage based on how your belongings are packed and arranged. Warehouse Storage
In the warehouse, your items are stored efficiently—vertically stacked up to 5–7 feet—to minimize space and cost while keeping everything safe.

Here’s how billing works with TransXpresss:
Token Amount
A small token amount is charged when you confirm your booking. This secures your moving slot. After Pickup
Once your items are picked up, your move coordinator will review and confirm the final inventory with you. First Month Billing
You’ll be billed on a pro-rata basis for your first month of storage. This amount is processed within 3–5 business days after your pickup. Monthly Subscription
From the following month onward, your monthly storage subscription will be billed within the first week of each month.

We can schedule a return of your items within 7 days of your request.

Your monthly storage subscription follows a consistent billing cycle. Here's how it works:
Move-in Date:
The date your storage subscription officially begins. Example: 12th March Monthly Payment Date:
You’ll be charged on the same calendar day each month, based on your move-in date. Example: 12th April, 12th May, 12th June, etc. Invoice Trigger Date:
Invoices are generated on the 2nd of every month and reflect the charges for that month. Example: Invoice for April is generated on 2nd April. Payment Due Date:
All payments are due by the end of the same month. Example: 30th April, 31st May, 30th June, etc.

It's important to make monthly payments by the specified due date to avoid penalties. Delayed payments beyond the due date may incur penalties of up to 10% of the outstanding amount. We will send multiple payment reminders to your registered email and mobile number before the due date.

Packaging & Pickups

The movers will help you pack and move just about anything that you would like. Some bulkier or fragile items (pool tables, exercise machines) require special care and should be moved with speciality movers. Our movers do not move or store these items, but are happy to provide recommendations. If you have anything that may require special arrangements, please contact the Transxpresss Team.

Yes! All necessary packing and wrapping materials are included with your move.
Our professional movers will arrive fully equipped with everything needed to safely pack your items at the time of pickup—no need to purchase supplies separately.
This includes:
Moving boxes
Bubble wrap and packing paper
Furniture blankets and shrink wrap
Tape and labeling materials

If there is a major change in the list of Inventory other than the mentioned list. There will be a revision in the estimate.

No, full gas cylinders cannot be stored in our facilities.
For safety reasons, all gas cylinders must be completely emptied before they can be accepted for storage. Full cylinders pose a significant hazard due to their pressurized and flammable contents, and are strictly prohibited in commercial storage environments.
Delivery/Returns of Goods

Yes, Transportation and unloading charges will be levied upon delivery of stored goods, and these charges will be billed separately at the time of delivery.

The customer must provide at least one week's advance notice for item delivery. Short-notice deliveries will not be accepted, as they can disrupt the service provider's planning and logistics.

Your items are stored in secure, commercial storage warehouses that are monitored and secured 24/7. These warehouses are typically located within the city limits in order to get you the best possible rates. The movers will carefully unload your storage from their trucks and organize your items so they are stored safely and efficiently.

Identification Requirements

Yes, for our storage service, KYC (Know Your Customer) is mandatory. Customers are required to provide 2 valid, government-issued IDs such as Aadhar and PAN cards. This complies with government regulations.

Annual Storage Charge

Yes, we apply a 5-10% annual increase in storage charges to all customers.

The annual increase in storage charges is necessary due to rising real estate prices, which impact the cost of maintaining our storage facilities.

Yes, customers agree to this annual increment by engaging our storage services.

Prior notification of any fee changes will be provided to customers. Changes will be effective at the start of the fiscal year.
Terms & Conditions, Cancellation and Refund Policy

Customers are advised to retain custody of all personal valuables, including but not limited to cash, jewellery, educational certificates, shareholding documents, medical records, property papers, and vehicle documents.
TransXprexsss shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to such items if transported through our services.

House shifting is an extensive and time-consuming process. Customers are strongly advised not to schedule any air, rail, or road travel on the day of the move.
TransXpresss shall not be liable for any losses incurred due to missed or delayed travel plans.

All packaging material remains the property of TransXpresss and will be collected post-delivery. Retention charges: ₹100 per corrugated box.
Rope-based transfers (hoisting or lowering items) are done solely at the customer’s discretion and risk.
Mathadi/Nokku Kooli (union labour) charges, where applicable (e.g., Mumbai, Pune, Kerala), are excluded from the quotation and are to be borne directly by the customer. Unpacking and rearranging services are not available in Kerala.

Minor Damage: Cosmetic, non-functional impact.
Major Damage: Affects usability/structure but is repairable.
Total Loss: Inventory is damaged beyond repair.
Claims Process:
Proof of purchase is mandatory. In its absence, compensation is capped at ₹5,000/item.
No claims will be entertained for: Self-packed goods.
Internal damage to electronics/appliances.
Items not listed or undervalued in the packing list.
All damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Supporting documents must be submitted within 72 hours.
TV claims require pre-pickup and post-delivery photographs to verify condition.
Car/bike transport: TransXpresss is not liable for accessories (e.g., chargers, goggles, helmets) kept inside.

Only issues documented within the TransXpresss email/chat support will be considered valid.
The packing list must include accurate descriptions and values for each item. Claims against unlisted/misvalued items will be rejected.
Customers must inspect and report missing/damaged items before signing the Proof of Delivery (POD). Claims raised post-signature without POD remarks will not be entertained.

Vehicle size and availability may vary depending on location and demand, but sufficient arrangements will be ensured.
Customers must notify TransXpresss of any society rules or vehicle entry restrictions in advance.
Delivery timelines are subject to:
Commercial vehicle access timings in cities.
Inter-city route conditions and logistics constraints.
Acts of God / Force Majeure events. (Delays arising from these will not be compensated.)

Quotation is dynamic and subject to changes in date, distance, or inventory post-confirmation.
Charges do not include :
Carpentry or electrical fittings (unless selected).
Long carry (more than 30 meters).
AC gas refilling, extra pipes/wires, etc.
Service slots are pre-booked and influenced by multiple factors.

Customers must verify entry feasibility for moving vehicles and inform TransXpresss in advance regarding access and timing restrictions.
Consignments are transported at the customer’s own risk. Opting for Insurance is strongly recommended.
Payment terms, including part or full payment, are solely at TransXpresss discretion.
In case of unavoidable cancellation from TransXpresss’s end, only the token amount paid will be refunded.
